Nice reflectivity. Box id 1975driv8085. Mirror glass: very good, a few light storage scratches but no stains at the edges like used one would have.
The back of mirror head is clean, with just some storage scratches. Its a project to fix but if it worked, this mirror would be looking under the mirror, appears that one of 3 cables weld solder joint. Glass backing bracket has broken free. As well one on the base. That's my best guess.
Offer item details chrome: the chrome is really great on this mirror, which main reason you would buy it. Parting out many Cadillac's. All of the parts are new, per-se, just that one wire solder joint has broken free again, that's my best guess, I have not had this apart, but there only 3 wires up to mirror glass.
Not many though. There are a couple of round-head pits yes, things in storage can pit too on the mirror head top and sides.
But I acquired this nos mirror many years ago and tucked it away as a repair project to do. Without that connected, it has almost no specific directional control. Shiny as heck, no haze or lines dots in the chrome like many have by this point. Toggle cables: not working.
Never got around to it. I don't usually sell items for the Seville. Time to sell it somebody who can get this fixed and onto a Seville.
