Part number stamped on the base is and glass has some scratches it from normal use. 4-ax-79 is the date code on glass.
Since the date code on glass is 79, I assume it must fit 1979 too. This part number shows to fit 1978 Buick Century. Mounting holes are 3 inches. The joystick is not super shiny.
Chrome is very shiny. Since the cars were similar from 78-81, and to Regal, Cutlass, Malibu, Bonneville, I assume it fits those years model's too. Remote works fine. I got this loose and do not know anything about it.
