This is an exceptional vintage item, a 1957-58 Fender Mirror Chrome Roadmaster style guitar, specifically modeled after the iconic Plymouth Fury from the classic film "Christine." The guitar, manufactured by Robert Kirkland (Roberk), boasts a captivating appearance that pays homage to the menacing and stylish Plymouth Fury from the cult horror film.
The body of this guitar is crafted from solid mahogany, coated with a mirror chrome finish that perfectly emulates the chrome-plated exterior of the Plymouth Fury. The guitar's neck is made of maple, featuring a comfortable and well-worn rosewood fretboard. The fretboard showcases 22 medium jumbo frets, ensuring smooth and effortless playing.
The guitar features a set of three single-coil pickups, with the bridge pickup being a Fender-style "Vintage" Noiseless single-coil, while the neck and middle pickups are vintage-style single-coils. This allows for a wide range of tones, from crisp and bright to warm and rich, making it a versatile instrument for various music styles.
The headstock of this vintage Roberk guitar is adorned with a beautifully-designed chrome "Fender" logo, in addition to the Robert Kirkland branding, adding a touch of class to this already impressive instrument. The tuning machines are vintage-style Kluson tuning pegs, ensuring the guitar stays in tune even during intense performances.
The guitar's hardware, including the bridge, tailpiece, and control knobs, is all chrome-plated, further enhancing its Christine-inspired look. The guitar comes equipped with a Tune-o-matic bridge and a stopbar tailpiece, ensuring stability and improved intonation.
The 1957-58 Roberk 330C Fender Mirror Chrome Roadmaster style guitar is an excellent investment for any guitar enthusiast or collector, offering a unique blend of vintage charm and modern playability. I took most off with a quick cleaning, but the rest will need little bit more elbow grease probably easier once removed from packaging. Will combine shipping for discount. The second photo looks like there is a white spot towards top of mirror - it just reflection from ceiling light.
The chrome has some small spots on it that come off with rubbing. Please see my other listings.
