Almost all of these old parts have imperfections.
I rate it a 4 minus on a scale of 1 5, with 5 as the high, based on age, rarity and condition.
These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce. Unless you are willing to spend a lot for a part the best you can do are look for those in good shape which this is.
Overall, though, it is just a good looking part.
I am not entirely sure if this particular base was used on both and if it also ran out to all they can do is go up in value. Gm Chevelle Monte Carlo mirror read all of the completely and look at the pics before buying. So if you plan on buying please plan on paying.
The cable to the knob is roughly 20 inches in length . It does not have a lot in the way of pitting and seriously what is there are a couple of small dots here and there except right in the inside crevice of the stem closest to the back of the housing. The glass looks good with surface scratches often found in mirrors of this vintage and a couple of tiny discoloration spots. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.
Hundreds of vendors, thousands of parts and none of these. Happy buying. The remote seems to work well and moves the glass fine.
The chrome is bright and really shows little wear in the way of scratches and so on. Take a close look. Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up. Mind you just attempting to be as honest as I can.

Be sure it is what you want and need. The knob itself has a little worn or chipped spot and obviously the trim ring that goes on the door panel is not there. I am honest about what I sell. Honestly we just don't find these.
