I m a collector who owns more than dozen vintage Porsche's and spend fair amount of my spare time hunting buying trading parts for these great cars. The finish is correct polished stainless steel and not ugly chrome you see today glass very nice. I have included multiple high-resolution photos showing the exact condition of this item.

If it is a reproduction, its better than the ones available currently. All of the parts I have listed on were, at one time or another, purchased for my cars were actually. I m not a dealer and don't do this to make living. Overall a nice mirror for the money with no significant flaws and only minor patina.
