It is not attached and easily removed so the new owner, if needed, can adjust position of head. This is a very rare 1956, 1957 Lincoln Continental Mark ii left outside review mirror. The chrome on mirror arm has small pinprick type pits.

The stainless steel mirror head has a couple on teeny tiny pinprick dings from road debris. The mirror glass has been replaced with a new non-glare, tinted.
