Likely this was from a low mileage car because of the lack wear and tear marks washing, road objects, rocks. Seville excluded for since it had exclusive mirrors. No haze or tiny white dots that most get by this age apex 41 years old. The Cadillac part was same from 415 is casting in base.

Good casing on cables too, not cracked rotted. The upper door angles are steeper after 1976 and these mirrors tilt awkwardly when on wrong year cars parting out many Cadillac's. Assuming this was stored out of a box for while, thus light scuffs prior to my acquisition. It works great and has some really nice shiny chrome. Note: this mirror is not for any Cadillac's prior to would only be correct 1977 and later rear wheel drive cars - thus excluding the Alvarado, Seville, Xamarin. Does not have the light stain lines that usually occur along outer edges perimeter.
