Things that nick and scratch the mirrors over time. Production date code: unknown. Very shiny too.

Likely this was from a low mileage car because of the lack wear and tear marks washing, road objects, rocks. Seville excluded for since it had exclusive mirrors. No haze or tiny white dots that most get by this age apex 41 years old. The Cadillac part was same from 415 is casting in base.

Its not perfect but highly presentable and will look great when mounted. Box id 1979driv8590 scale notes about this mirror: is a premium mirror that has survived the rages of time and weather. This mirror won't work. Mirror glass: very good.

Aside from some storage mark, you would be hard pressed to find many that are nicer I do not have the history on this particular one, but whatever it was, was good. Overall rating: 8. Its essentially pit free. Aside from a light scuff or two on the outer sides of head, its promo.

Good casing on cables too, not cracked rotted. The upper door angles are steeper after 1976 and these mirrors tilt awkwardly when on wrong year cars parting out many Cadillac's. While some Cadillac's began to switch over electric and heated mirrors around 1980, likely lower end Devilled still used these manual. Offer item details chrome: the chrome is really superb on this mirror.

The rear wheel drive Devilled ended in 1984, while fleetwood brougham version continued til but likely had electric heated mirrors as standard equipment. This may fit the same bolt spacing configuration for, not sure of door toggle was modified with 1980 face lifts. It changed in 1980 for Devilled fleetwood.

Assuming this was stored out of a box for while, thus light scuffs prior to my acquisition. It works great and has some really nice shiny chrome. Note: this mirror is not for any Cadillac's prior to would only be correct 1977 and later rear wheel drive cars - thus excluding the Alvarado, Seville, Xamarin. Does not have the light stain lines that usually occur along outer edges perimeter.

Note: mirror glass is slightly tilted left inside of the head, I don't know why. Nice reflectivity. Toggle cables: works excellent.
